Change Your Mindset

CHANGE YOUR MINDSET

What Are You Thinking

Do you ever feel like your life is not what you would like it to be? Sometimes we get caught up in the wrong thoughts when our day is not going expected. The day to day stressors and our emotions can have an impact on things. That is all well and dandy as long as you don’t get stuck there.

We have a lot of control over our destiny and day to day life through our thoughts and mindset. If you are not happy with your life then change how to think about things. Do you dwell on past experiences. Are you a complainer?

Do you have any goals? Do you have any plans on how to achieve those goals? Do you value the lessons learned through failure? Do you have the courage to follow through with your plans and reach your goals? Are you a quitter?

The only limits in life are the one’s that we put on ourselves.

If you think you can’t you won’t.

If you believe that you can then you will.

Simple concept that can be hard and sometimes impossible to follow. When you put limitations on your abilities you will never go past what you think is within reach. One of my favorite sayings, “If you believe it you can achieve it” (can’t recall who it originates from) is powerful. The mind can lead the body if you learn how to control what you think no matter how you are feeling. Force positive thoughts!

Free writing is a good way to get your thoughts out and see what you are thinking. By capturing the emotions at the moment they are happening and typing to or hand writing those feeling and thoughts you can learn a lot about yourself. How you react or respond to a situation is important. When you begin to understand what makes you tick then you can start working on changing you mindset so you can change the results you are getting in life.

Read what you write in any given situation and it should amaze you. When we are going through things we are in the moment and we really can see ourselves or hear ourselves, but when we practice free writing we can capture and learn and change our mindset. It does take persistence, patience and discipline. Effort well worth the time.
